I met the Boston Marathon race director Dave McGillivray in 2015 at the Louisiana Half Marathon. He spoke at a dinner the night before our race. I was there with Ainsley’s Angels. In his speech to us, he told us the story about how he became a runner, a Boston runner, and eventually the race director of the Boston Marathon.
